Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What are Giclée Prints?
Giclée printing uses 12 pigment-based archival inks to achieve accurate colour, fine detail and long-lasting prints, rather than the standard 4 dye-based inks used in regular digital printing.
The artworks are printed on acid-free, archival-quality paper or canvas, made to last for 80–100 years with proper care. Each print is also finished with a matte varnish for an added layer of protection.
-
Q. How long does it take for the prints to be delivered?
I print each artwork fresh for every order.
- Domestic orders:
Standard shipping takes up to 10 working days. Express shipping takes up to 3-5 working days. - International orders:
Delivery takes up to 12 working days.
Please note that there may occasionally be a delay of a few days due to unforeseen circumstances.
-
Q. Do the prints come framed?
Paper prints are shipped unframed.
Canvas prints are stretched over a wooden frame before being shipped.
For international orders, canvas prints larger than 16 × 20 inches are shipped unstretched, as shipping a larger framed canvas can be quite expensive. In such cases, the canvas comes with a coloured border and extra fabric around the edges, so it can be easily stretched and framed by a nearby framer.

Q. What is your return policy?

If your order arrives damaged, please email me with photos of the damaged artwork as soon as you receive it. I’ll look into it and help resolve the issue.

Q. Do you take commission work?
I’m not taking commissions at the moment. If that changes, I’ll share an update on my Instagram.
-
Q. Can I order a custom-sized print?
Yes, custom-sized prints are possible for some artworks. Write to hello@prachimathur.com with the size you’re looking for, and I’ll get back to you.
